Job Description & Responsibilities
In line with the level of qualifications and experience, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Transaction postings and maintenance of ledgers in the Accounting and other System
• Maintenance of customer accounts, including assistance with the invoicing process and credit management
• Preparing reconciliations of bank statements, supplier accounts and others as required
• Recording petty cash, preparing bank deposits and issuing supplier payments
• Assisting and coordinating bookkeeping and the preparation of VAT and other statutory returns, as necessary
• Assisting with payroll computations, including collating and vetting of the related documents
• Maintaining employee records, including calculation of leave balances, notice periods in case of new employments and terminations
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Qualifications required
Applicants must as a minimum have an A’ level in Accounting, and preferably in the early stages of ACCA studies.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (will be a plus)
Experience required
Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
