Job Description & Responsibilities

Griffiths + Associates is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join our growing team. The selected candidate will report directly to the Audit Director and will take responsibility for the overall audit processes of both local and international portfolio of clients.

As an Audit Senior within the team, the ideal candidate shall deal with an exciting array of clients and will be involved in all stages of the audit, starting from planning the audit, executing the audit plan through audit techniques and testing, and completing the audit.

• Full Time (40 hours / week)
• Working hours for full timers: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5:00pm with a degree of flexibility

Qualifications required

Applicants must be fully qualified Accounting Professionals (in possession of a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Malta or ACCA).

Experience required

Applicants must:
• Have previous experience in an audit firm for at least two years
• Have previous experience in auditing Gaming companies (will be considered an asset)
• Have experience in external audit planning, risk and control identification and performing, reviewing and directing external audit testing
• Have knowledge of GAPSME and IFRS financial reporting frameworks
• Have knowledge of International Standards on Auditing
• Have strong analytical and process analysis skills
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Maltese
