Key responsibilities:
• Independently execute day to day tasks in relation to an allocated portfolio under the supervision and guidance of Management
• Prepare management accounts in a timely manner
• Prepare accountancy files for audit purposes
• Ensure job prioritisation and adherence to deadlines
• Prepare VAT and tax returns under guidance of Tax/ VAT team
• Make calculated decisions under the parameters given by Management and in accordance with the risk-based approach
• Advanced relationship management (internal and external). Maintain open dialogue of communication with the client on a regular basis
• Delegate certain duties downwards / review work of Executive levels
• Apply discretion in the day-to-day duties
• Guide the other Executive levels to adapt and integrate with the team and processes
• Manage ethical, responsible and timely billing
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of an A' level in Accounts and or be in the process of obtaining a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA or similar).
Experience required
Applicants must as a minimum have 2 to 3 years’ experience in an accounting or audit role with another corporate services provider or accountancy/audit firm.

• Have problem solving skills and be solution driven
• Be analytical, meticulous with a keen eye to detail
• Be able to multitask effectively and able to problem-solve with a can-do attitude
• Be proactive and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Have strong technical knowledge of accounting matters or ability to acquire such in a short period of time
