Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance team in a range of accounting and financial administration tasks. The role involves contributing to various accountancy functions whilst ensuring day-to-day smooth operations within the Finance department. The person shall support in the compliance of the financial regulations, accurate payroll processing and efficient internal control.
The Senior Executive II will report to the Financial Controller or his delegate.
Qualifications required
Eligible candidates must possess an MQF Level 7 in Accountancy or any other relevant and equivalent qualification.
Candidates must be fluent in Maltese and English to be eligible for an interview. Qualifications and experience claimed must be supported by certificates and/or testimonials. Applicants in possession of a foreign qualification/s are to produce with their application, a recognition statement on comparability of qualifications issued by the Malta Qualification Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC). In addition candidates are requested to submit an updated CV together with a recent police conduct, two (2) referees and a copy of their certificates.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in an accounting environment.
