Join Finco Group as an Operations Manager, where you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational processes within the firm. This critical role ensures the efficient,
accurate, and compliant execution of day-to-day activities, directly supporting client service excellence and business growth.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented person with a strong understanding of accounting, corporate services and process improvement methodologies.
Process Management & Optimization:
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective operational procedures across all departments (e.g., client onboarding, trade processing, account maintenance, reporting, compliance)
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks in existing workflows and propose solutions for improvement
• Utilize technology and automation to streamline operations and enhance productivity
• Create and maintain comprehensive operations manuals and documentation
Team Leadership & Development:
• Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of operations specialists/associates
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and client service within the operations team
Technology & Systems Management:
• Act as a key liaison with IT for operational system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Oversee the effective utilization of core financial software platforms
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency and client experience
Reporting & Analysis:
• Generate regular operational reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), efficiency metrics, and service levels
• Analyse data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks
• Present operational insights and recommendations to senior management
Qualifications required
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISI, CFA, Lean Six Sigma) are a significant plus.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role, as well as being a fully qualified accountant.
