Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for ambitious Senior Accounting Executives to provide support to the accounting department by managing daily accounting tasks for our clients.
The selected candidate will be part of a young innovative team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for our clients’ finances.
Responsibilities include:
• Post and process invoices and journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
• Assist with reviewing of expenses and payroll records as assigned
• Prepare and submit quarterly / yearly VAT reports
• Assist and prepare monthly / yearly closing up to the finalizing the Financial Statements
• Assist with other accounting projects
• Supervise and mentor other junior accounting executives within the company
• Ensure efficient client services and provide support to administration staff
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in the final stages or in possession of an ACCA qualification or similar qualifications.
Experience required
Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role will be considered as an asset.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be familiar with accounting principles and be able to work comfortably with numbers and attentive to detail
• Demonstrate great attention to detail
• Have a good understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting principles
• Have excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Be deadline-oriented
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have strong organizational skills
