Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for ambitious Junior Accounting Executives to provide support to the accounting department by managing daily accounting tasks for our clients.
You will be part of a young innovative team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for our clients’ finances.
Responsibilities include:
• Post and process invoices and journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
• Assist with reviewing of expenses and payroll records as assigned
• Prepare and submit quarterly / yearly VAT reports
• Assist Senior Accountants in the preparation of monthly / yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting projects
• Ensure efficient client services and provide support to administration staff
Qualifications required
Applicants must have a Diploma in Accounting or B.Com or be studying ACCA.
Experience required
A minimum experience of 1 year in a similar role will be considered as an asset.
The ideal candidate must:
• Demonstrate great attention to detail
• Have a good understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting principles
• Have excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Be deadline-oriented
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have strong organizational skills
