Job Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Process and record invoices, expenses, payments and related documents
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and related modules
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and other reconciliations
• Liaise and attend to queries both from sub-agents and suppliers
• Support monthly and year-end financial closing processes
• Prepare financial reports, summaries and monthly reports for internal use as required
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards
• Assist with audits and other administrative accounting tasks as required
Reduced hours will also be considered.
Qualifications required
Applicants must have an A' level in Accounts.
Experience required
Applicants must have proven experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have excellent attention to detail, accuracy and number crunching
• Have good organisational and time management skills
• Be competent in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel and financial data entry
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Be fluent in Maltese and English Language
Candidates who demonstrate a pleasant and approachable demeanour, coupled with a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment, will be given preference.
