Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Recording, organising and structuring financial data
• Collaborating with the various departments within the Group to ensure that information is structured in line with reporting requirements
• Analysing financial information
• Maintaining and reviewing regular project costings
• Preparing financial reports and management accounts
• Controlling financial records and data
• Preparing VAT returns and any other fiscal submissions
• Liaising with auditors
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of an Accountancy qualification (ACCA or University Degree).
Experience required
Applicants must have significant experience in a similar position.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be able to work both in a team and on own initiative
• Be able to solve problems
• Be a detail-oriented, numerate and highly organised individual
• Have excellent communication skills
• Enjoy working in a challenging environment
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
• Be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Have great communication skills, both in Maltese and English
• Have a clean police conduct
