Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing and issuing sales invoices
• Recording purchase invoices in the system
• Posting and reconciling bank transactions
• Preparing and entering journal entries
• Processing payments to suppliers
• Following up and collecting payments from clients
• Maintaining proper filing systems and assisting with general administrative tasks as required
Qualifications required
An A’ level qualification in Accounting (or equivalent) is required.
Experience required
Applicants must as a minimum have 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Be able to work independently with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate a proactive and mature approach to work, with a positive 'can-do' attitude
• Have communication skills in Maltese and/or Italian (will be considered an asset)
