Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking to recruit an energetic individual to work within our Client Accounting Department as an Accounts Assistant. The chosen candidate will need to be driven, hard-working, a good team-player, eager to learn and up for a challenge. S/he will be reporting to Senior Members within this department.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Assisting in all book-keeping functions namely inputting and reconciling sales and handling purchase invoices and bank reconciliations
• Carrying out accounting reconciliations
• Supporting daily administrative tasks
• Liaising with clients to ensure that all required documentation is received in a timely manner
• Liaising with tax authorities
• Carrying out any other duties that may arise from time to time within the same function
Working conditions:
• Flexitime: IN 7:30 to 9:30 OUT 16:30 to 18:30*

Qualifications required
An A’Level standard of education is a must.
Experience required
Previous experience in a similar role would be considered an asset
The ideal candidate must:
• Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Be willing to work at client premises should the need arise
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Have knowledge of Sage or Shireburn accounting packages (would be considered an asset)
• Ideally possess a clean driving license and own car
• Have refined organisational skills: able to prioritise, follow-up and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Be pro-active and organised with a keen eye for detail
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills, with a can-do attitude approach
• Have excellent command of written and spoken Maltese & English
• Be open to learning new skills
• Have analytical skills
