Job Description & Responsibilities
The role calls for an individual to deal with the client relationships. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for preparing management accounts, payroll, secretarial duties, administrative tasks amongst other as required by our clients under the supervision of your team manager.
Responsibilities include:
• Handling a portfolio of clients, providing a comprehensive service in terms of accounting, administrative, secretarial and other related duties
• Preparing financial statements and liaising with Auditors
• Preparing tax reporting, payments and liaising with tax authorities
• Preparing VAT returns and compliance
• Acting as a liaison to a portfolio of clients and addressing their queries
• Handling client payroll if applicable
Qualifications required
Previous experience in the same sector would be considered an asset.
Experience required
Applicants must:
• Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Previous working knowledge of Sage Pastel Evolution will be considered an asset
• Have sound knowledge of the IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards
• Have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
• Have the ability to work and perform under pressure
• Be efficient and have a great eye for detail
• Be able to work on own initiative and in a team whilst also adhering to deadlines
