CLA Malta offers great career opportunities for both ACCA and University graduates, as well as for experienced professionals within our Audit & Assurance Section.
We are currently growing our Audit team and we are on the look out for a Senior Associate to join our existent group of auditors.
Responsibilities include:
• Lead client audit engagements which include planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits
• Apply generally accepted accounting principles and reporting rules, where applicable and financial statement presentation
• Acquire working knowledge of the client’s business
• Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvement

Qualifications required
Applicants must be fully ACCA qualified or be in possession of an equivalent qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years previous working experience within an Audit team.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office software programs. An advanced level in Microsoft Excel would be considered an asset
• Have strong communication skills in English and Maltese, both written and spoken
• Be able to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Be able to quickly adapt to changing client and business dynamics
• Be efficient coupled with a good eye for detail
• Demonstrate risk awareness and high integrity when dealing with confidential information
• Be self motivated, proactive with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
