Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing Management Accounts
• Preparing annual budgets
• Preparing VAT returns
• Issuing monthly invoices, settlement of invoices and receipts control (collect, issue and check)
• Maintaining accurate accounting records
• Preparing bank reconciliations
• Supporting external auditors to finish audit reports
• Answering normal queries when asked by bank - providing supporting payments for high amounts
• Carrying out any other accounting tasks as required
Qualifications required
Applicants must be recently qualified Accountants or be in the final year of ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have 2 years’ experience of practical accounting.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have experience in Maltese tax and accounting
• Have experience with Sage accounting systems
