Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing management accounts and other reports and presenting them to the Board of Directors
• Reviewing and interpreting complex data
• Preparing financial forecasts/budgets
• Analysing performance against budgets and against prior years
• Preparing and analysing monthly departmental contribution reports for the group
• Handling cost analysis and control
• Monitoring the finance team’s tasks, ensuring reporting is timely
• Understanding processes and procedures with the objective of improving performance
• Updating IT and Control Systems’ for continuous improvement
• Liaising with external auditors to ensure the smooth running of the group companies’ audits
• Monitoring of E.U / National Grants that the group may benefit from
• Maintaining updated KYC documentation for the group’s advisors, bankers, service providers
• Preparing and submitting the group’s VAT returns
• Providing assistance with the ongoing KYC and bank forms
• Filling NSO questionnaires and statistics
• Contributing towards talent development of other team members within the finance team, be willing to take on a hands-on approach and assist them as and when required, hence promoting teamwork
• Carrying out other general duties that may be required by the directors and chief financial officer
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of the ACCA qualification or an equivalent certification.
Experience required
Applicants must have 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
