YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 🔥
In this role, your main missions will be:
• Reconciliation Management: Oversee the reconciliation of payment transactions between the company’s payment processors, banks, and internal financial systems. Ensure that payments, refunds, chargebacks, and adjustments are reconciled promptly, accurately, and in compliance with company policies
• Data Integrity & Automation: Design and implement data integrity checks and automated processes for reconciliation tasks. Use scripting (e.g., SQL, Python) and tools to validate transaction data across systems and identify discrepancies automatically
• Process Optimization & Automation: Lead the development of automation solutions to streamline reconciliation workflows, reduce manual intervention, and increase efficiency. Leverage application integrations, APIs, and custom-built scripts to enhance reconciliation accuracy and speed
• Advanced Data Analysis: Use data analysis tools and techniques to monitor payment trends, discrepancies, and system performance. Conduct thorough data quality checks and root cause analysis to address any reconciliation failures or gaps
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with IT and Finance teams to integrate and optimize reconciliation systems, ensuring seamless data flow between platforms. Create automated, real-time reporting dashboards that provide key performance indicators (KPIs) for reconciliation activities
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the reconciliation process by identifying areas for automation, system integration, and error reduction. Develop and implement best practices for reconciliation, focusing on system-level integrity checks
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure that automated reconciliation processes and data integrity measures meet internal control standards and compliance requirements. Assist in internal and external audits and ensure all discrepancies are tracked and resolved
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 2 reconciliation specialists, providing them with the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to perform automated reconciliations. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Qualifications required

This job is for you if:
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field OR Advanced certifications in data management or process automation
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) and automation tools
Experience required
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in payment reconciliation, data management, or financial operations, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in process automation and scripting
You possess the below technical Proficiency:
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, payment processors, and reconciliation software
• Experience with data management platforms and techniques, including ETL processes, database management, and data integrity checks
• Knowledge on data analytics (Excel Pivots, and converting data into useful information and operational and Performance KPIs)
• Familiarity with APIs and integrating systems for seamless data exchange
• You have an in-depth experience designing and implementing data validation and integrity checks across multiple systems
• Proficient in building automated solutions for reconciliation and data consistency monitoring
• You have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex data discrepancies using automation and data validation techniques. Ability to assess data flows and troubleshoot issues at the system level
• You have proven track record of building and implementing automated workflows for financial processes, with a focus on reconciliation and data management. Experience using RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or other automation frameworks is a plus
• You have expertise in data reporting tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to build automated, real-time dashboards and provide detailed insights into payment transaction reconciliations
• You have strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with IT, finance, and operational teams to align processes and systems for maximum efficiency. Capable of presenting technical data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• You have high attention to detail in managing large volumes of transaction data, ensuring that data integrity is maintained throughout the reconciliation process
