Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join, and lead, a small team of accountants.
The successful candidate would lead with planning the accounting, tax and audit liaison work for the whole team (4 individuals) and would also take responsibility for a portfolio of clients including accounting, VAT and income tax reporting.
Qualifications required
Applicants must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or ACCA.
Experience required
Applicants must as a minimum have five (5) years’ experience in an accounting environment, of which at least two (2) years’ experience must be in client-servicing.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have experience in the preparation of IFRS and GAPSME financial statements, both standalone and consolidated
• Have experience in dealing with local tax reporting, including tax returns, refunds and NID calculations
