Job Description & Responsibilities
The Archbishop’s Seminary is seeking a Manager (Finance and Administration) to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Archbishop’s Seminary’s financial planning and reporting, identifying and securing funding opportunities, and ensuring the effective management of administrative systems. The Manager will also lead staff relations within his/her team, while providing strategic and operational guidance to strengthen governance and maintain continuity across all key support functions.

Qualifications required
Applicants must have a tertiary-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum MQF Level 6). Evidence of further studies or professional certifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA) will be considered an asset. Familiarity with national/EU funding frameworks is advantageous.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior finance or administrative role, preferably within the non-profit, ecclesiastical, or educational sectors.
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
• Have proven experience in budgeting, reporting, auditing, and capital investment planning. Experience in people management, including payroll and employee relations, is highly desirable
• Have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Have excellent command of English and Maltese, both written and spoken
• Have strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
• Have a valid driving licence
• Be committed to the mission and values of the Archbishop’s Seminary
