AMSM markets, sells, and distributes a wide range of food and allied grocery products, primarily to the retail sector (supermarkets and groceries) and the food service sector (restaurants and takeaways). The Company brings over 200 of the best local and international brands to the table. AMSM operates from Zachary House, located in the Marsa Industrial Estate in a specifically designed building that houses our offices and 3 warehouses (ambient, chilled, and frozen).
Job Description & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Performing cashiering duties
• Maintaining up to date records on both accounts payables and receivables
• Assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tasks
• Posting transactions in the accounting systems
• Carrying out any other ad-hoc duties needed to assist the rest of the team
Qualifications required
Applicants must have an A' level standard of education or a similar qualification.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum of 1-year experience within a similar role.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have a good command of English
• Have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Word and Excel
• Have strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Be able to work under pressure
• Be a team player
