Accounts Assistant Manager

We are currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified accountant to form part of the Senior Management team and to co-manage the firm’s Accounts Department. The post calls for a highly organised and motivated individual who is willing to make the next move in his or her professional career.

The selected candidate will together with the other managers in the firm, be responsible to manage a portfolio of clients as well as the members of staff forming part of the accounting team. A good command of both written and spoken English is a must. Speaking and understanding the Italian language will be considered to be an asset.

Duties include:
• Co-managing a team of 4 to 5 people
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies
• Interacting with the firm’s directors, staff and clients
• Supervising staff on a daily basis
• Providing VAT advice to clients when this is required
• Liaising with auditors
• Reviewing work carried out by members of staff
• Planning work to ensure deadlines are met
• Liaising with other departments within the firm
