Job Description & Responsibilities
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial status, developing financial strategies, implementing control systems to protect assets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement financial strategies
• Oversee budgetary planning, financial forecasting, and financial risk management
• Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with Regulations and Authority guidelines
• Lead the Finance department and oversee accounting activities
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain relationships with regulators
• Manage capital structure, cash flow, and fundraising initiatives
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on strategic direction
• Foster relationships with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders
• Implement corporate governance practices and manage financial risks
• Serve as liaison with the Board of Directors and prepare financial reports
Qualifications required
Applicants must be fully qualified Accountants.
Experience required
Applicants must have a minimum 10 years of finance experience, with 5 years in senior leadership, ideally within the payments industry.
