We are currently seeking a suitable candidate to join our Accounting and Audit team. The ideal candidate should be organised and self-motivated, with an interest in learning and working together to reach deadlines in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing financial bookkeeping in various industries
• Conducting various accounting reconciliations
• Preparing management accounts
• Reviewing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Preparing year-end accounts for audit purposes
• Performing ad-hoc duties as required
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Qualifications required
Applicants should have a minimum A Level in Accounts. Being part qualified in ACCA or other equivalent qualification would be considered an asset.
Experience required
Previous experience in accounting and VAT will be considered as asset.
The ideal candidate must:
• Have strong knowledge of VAT and its practical applications
• Have good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Be able to work independently and within a team and meet deadlines
• Be proficient with accounting software such as Sage and Xero (will be considered an asset)
• Have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
